Recently read that research has measured that "powerbreathe" training everyday can improve performance by 3-4%.

Has anyone actually used powerbreathing and achieved any results?

One of the guys at work swears by this, he has mild asthma and reckons it helps his breathing when he is training hard. He is more into weights and body building than cardio but just using it gives him a good workout !

I read that "powerbreathe training" - 30 slow breaths, twice a day - every day for four weeks can increase the strength of inspiratory muscles by 30-50%
